Blepharoplasty creates a more well-rested appearance and can correct problems related to aging. Preparation

Procedure 

During the Blepharoplasty, the surgeon makes an incision later hidden by the eyelashes or the natural skin fold following Blepharoplasty. Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed through this incision, which should heal well after Blepharoplasty, leaving little or no visible scar. If the surgeon performs a lower Blepharoplasty, fat may be redistributed to create a more even appearance, and excess tissue is removed.

Recovery 

Blepharoplasty recovery times can vary by individual, taking up to weeks or months following the Blepharoplasty for the scarring to completely fade, although swelling and bruising from Blepharoplasty should fade in considerably less time and the end results are long-lasting.
