Camouflage cosmetics specifically designed for color correcting are an excellent asset to anyone who has just undergone a cosmetic procedure.  After cosmetic surgery many individuals are eager to return to work, school, and/or other daily activities.  While patients may be physically ready to complete such tasks, they may feel uncomfortable about the swelling, bruising, and incision lines that may still be visible during the healing process.

Color correcting camouflage cosmetic products can be used to help a patient conceal these surgical side effects as they heal.  Redness and bruising are best concealed with color correcting products.  These products have a special tint that helps to diminish discoloration of the skin after a surgical procedure.

Lavender tinted color correcting cosmetics are often effective in concealing the yellow discoloration of bruises.  Green tinted color correcting cosmetics can neutralize the redness of the skin following microdermabrasion, a chemical peel, or the like.  These color correcting products are the same consistency as a regular foundation and are typically applied prior to foundation application.
