According to recent reports, the cosmetic surgery business is booming and more and more men and women throughout the country are desiring to look younger.

Doctors claim that people are lining up for laser surgery, botox injections and chemical peels in hopes that they can regain their skin's youthfulness and radiance.

Skincare Becomes Crucial

More and more women are desiring the skin they once had and instead of buying over the counter products that may or may not work, these women are heading straight to the professionals for some hands on work.

“Every day I'm busier and busier,” says Dr. Sharon Kshettry, the founder of a new skin care clinic. “More women are working, and are working to later ages, and looking good is important to them.”

Men Also Concerned With Skincare

Doctors say that women aren't the only ones concerned about maintaining their skin's appearance.

Men are also seeking treatments like botox to ensure they're at their best in daily life.

“They want to look younger to be more competitive in the workplace,” says Dr. Joseph Gryskiewicz.

Rise in Facial Treatments

Statistics show that minimally invasive procedures like botox and chemical peels rose 8 percent in the past year.

Surgeons say that more consumers are getting cosmetic surgeries since newer technologies like skin lasers are enabling more work to be done without cutting the skin.
