Laser acne treatment is arguably the most effective acne treatment available.  Though it can be costly, laser acne treatment deals with the root of the problem by permanently removing the affected area and resurfacing the skin to allow new healthy skin to develop.  Laser acne treatment can also significantly reduce and remove scarring caused by acne and other conditions. 

In North America, approximately 80 percent of all individuals will suffer from acne at one point or another.  Acne typically occurs during the adolescent years, but may develop as late as ages 18 to 24.  Acne is caused by the inflammation of pores from the accumulation of bacteria.

Minor and temporary side effects associated with the treatment include redness and swelling of the area.  These side effects however should subside in several days and you will be able to see noticeable results. 

Follow up treatments may be necessary depending on the condition, but results are usually visible after only one treatment. 

Laser acne treatment, while well worth the lasting results can be costly.  Typical costs for the procedure can range from $50 for very small areas, to as much as $3000 for more extensive procedures.
