Recent reports claim that plastic surgery is no longer just a hit in California but is also becoming more and more popular and accepted throughout the country.

With all the new techniques and research being conducted on various surgeries, more men and women are going under the knife to nip, tuck, and enhance their overall appearance.

Liposuction-on-the-Go

Nancy Pariza is one of the many women across the country who has taken advantage of the new techniques that have hit the plastic surgery market.

The surgeon who performed Pariza’s liposuction used the SmartLipo technique and the procedure was minimally invasive with little recovery time.

“I didn’t want to feel anything,” explains Pariza, “I had seen traditional lipo done on TV and it looked so brutal.”

However, with the SmartLipo technique Pariza reportedly had minimal pain or bruising and was back to work in four days.

America’s Fascination with Lipo

To date, liposuction remains the most popular cosmetic surgery in the U.S. and a reported 403, 684 operations were performed in 2006.

Researchers claim that less invasive procedures like SmartLipo are becoming increasingly popular since a patient can undergo the procedure and get back to their lives feeling more confident.
