He is affiliated with the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ; Paramus Surgery Center in Paramus, NJ; and Centra-State Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. Dr. Gartner is an artistic, skilled, and caring plastic surgeon who has donated plastic surgery procedures to children and adults in Neiva, Columbia as well as to Healing the Children, a global non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children. He was recognized in 2004, 2005, and 2006 by The Consumer Research Council of America as one of America’s Top Doctor’s. Dr. Gartner has been featured in multiple magazines such as Allure, Glamour, Self, 201 The Best of Bergen, and Monmouth; and is frequently invited by radio stations and television shows to provide his expertise in cosmetic plastic surgery. Dr. Michael Gartner attended undergraduate school at Boston University and received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He went on to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch New Jersey to complete a five-year residency in General Surgery. Dr. Gartner continued onto his plastic surgery training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and then completed his final residency in Microsurgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
