Philip Bushnick, M.D., F.A.C.S

Dr. Philip Bushnick is a well respected cosmetic plastic surgeon. He center’s his practice around open honest communication, patient confidentiality, and fulfilling his patient’s cosmetic plastic and reconstructive surgery needs. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine and an Instructor in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Illinois Medical School. Dr. Bushnick maintains memberships with multiple professional medical societies. His leadership skills and dedication followed him from college.

Dr. Philip Bushnick maintained honors throughout his undergraduate education. He completed his BA of Science, his M.S. in Biology, and then became a PhD Candidate in Physiology at the University of Illinois. After graduate school he went on to receive his M.D. from the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. Dr. Bushnick continued his training at the University of Illinois Hospital, where he completed his residencies in general and plastic surgery.

Stefan Mark Szczerba, M.D. (fluent in Polish)

Dr. Stefan Szczerba priority is to accomplish his patient’s plastic and reconstructive surgery goals. He prides himself on his sincerity and ability to produce natural looking results. Dr. Szczerba is an established author and has presented on multiple occasions on topics such as facial corrective surgery, breast surgery, and aesthetic plastic surgery. He is an attending physician at St. Alexius Hospital, Illinois Masonic Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, Mount Sinai, and Stroger Cook County Hospital. Dr. Szczerba was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery, at the University of Illinois, however, he wanted to dedicate more time to his practice.

Dr. Szczerbia demonstrated leadership and ability all throughout college. He was founder Iota Pi Chape Chapter at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where he graduated with his B.S. He majored in medical technology and minored in biology and psychology. Dr. Szczerbia went to Rush Medical College of Rush University in Chicago, IL where he received his medical degree as well as was given the Arthur Dean Bevan award, which is an award for clinical and academic excellence. Following graduation he completed his general surgery residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and his plastic surgery training at Emory University. He also finished a cosmetic plastic surgery fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York, NY.
