A South Florida native, Tracey Stokes, MD, was educated at some of the countries most distinguished universities prior to returning to Fort Lauderdale to join Himmarshee Surgical Partners. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Biology from Harvard University, she graduated again with honors from Cornell University Medical School. Dr. Stokes completed her residencies in General Surgery & Plastic Surgery at Duke University Medical School, followed by two fellowships - a microsurgery fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute, the most renowned hand hospital in the country and a dedicated cosmetic surgery fellowship at Paces Plastic Surgery, the largest private plastic surgery practice in the southeast.
