Dr. Azita Madjidi is a board certified plastic surgeon with a true passion for reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. She has excelled in both her academic and professional careers, and is committed to providing the best plastic surgery care, based on your individual needs.

Extensive Training

Dr. Madjidi has extensive training in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. She obtained her medical degree from Caen Medical School in Normandy, France. She then went on to complete her residency training and obtained the French Board certification in Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology.

Following extensive training, Dr. Madjidi went on to work at the prestigious Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris as Chief of Clinics-Assistant in Pediatric Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery. There, she taught medical students and residents, and performed reconstructive surgeries on children with cleft lips, palates and other birth defects.

Dr. Madjidi built a private practice in affiliation with Laennec Hospital, St. Vincent-de-Paul Children's Hospital and the St. Joseph Foundation Hospital. After meeting her husband, she moved to Texas where she underwent formal American training. After completing an American plastic surgery curriculum, she completed a microvascular fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

Today, Dr. Madjidi dedicates much of her time to helping underprivileged children in Central America, Africa and the Middle East by performing reconstructive surgeries for children with cleft lips, palates and other birth defects. Dr. Majidid is fluent in Persian, French, English and Spanish, and is learning Arabic. Her vast education has allowed her to expand the scope of her practice to a broad population.
