Lori H. Saltz, M.D. Lori Saltz, M.D. has been committed to excellence in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery for the past twenty five years. Whether it's been her effort to go beyond the norm in training or the service she has provided to her patients, Dr. Saltz has risen above many others in plastic surgery. Dr. Saltz completed both a general surgery and plastic surgery residency to total six additional years of training in medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Oregon. Dr. Saltz has reshaped the lives of patients in ways only one can imagine.
H. Michael Roark, M.D. Dr. Roark's devotion to exceeding patient expectations is founded upon his nineteen years experience as a board certified American Board of Plastic Surgery member. Formerly, Dr. Roark was a founding Medical Director of The Alvarado Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Roark obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Calgary. Recognized for his expertise, Dr. Roark was selected to complete both general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Toronto's Gallie postgraduate surgical program. Dr. Roark imparts specialty plastic surgery skill to deliver attractive, natural looking results for his patients.
Johan Brahme, M.D. Dr. Brahme is a UCSD trained board certified plastic surgeon who has devoted thirteen years to plastic surgery and nine years to general surgery. This combination has allowed Dr. Brahme to bring the most advanced level of expertise to his patients. Dr. Brahme expanded on his childhood interest in medicine by helping patients reach their aesthetic goals through the latest techniques in facial and body plastic surgery procedures. Raised in Malmo, Sweden, Dr. Brahme came to La Jolla to help create a greater sense of well-being for patients through his artistic capability, methodology and elite performance in plastic surgery care.
Joseph L. Grzeskiewicz, M.D. In addition to treating hundreds of satisfied patients, Dr. Grzeskiewicz has dedicated his life to plastic surgery in many other ways. Dr. Grzeskiewicz maintains a leading edge of plastic surgery through his membership in the some of most impressive professional organizations, including: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The San Diego Plastic Surgery Society. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Grzeskiewicz brings together delicate art and technique to refine faces and bodies for life changing experiences in plastic surgery.
R. Merrel Olesen, M.D. (RETIRED) Merrel Olesen, M.D. is one of the most well recognized leaders in the field of plastic surgery. In 1988, Merrel Olesen founded the La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre with over 20 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is the Medical Director of the La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre. Merrel Olesen, M.D. fulfills his mission to provide exceptional service through the staff members he has recruited and the state of the art facility that has developed in the past ten years. Over the course of his career, Merrel Olesen, M.D. has held several top level positions in plastic surgery, including: Chair of the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, past president of the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society, and clinical instructor for the Plastic Surgery Division, University of California at San Diego. He has co-authored the top rated Cosmetic Surgery for Dummies book and has authored many other articles for audiences nationwide. With over 25 years of expertise, Dr. Olesen has become a master in plastic surgery.
