He also holds positions at Marin General Hospital and Greenbrae Surgery Center.

His former positions consist of Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division at Marin General Hospital, Assistant Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Marin General Hospital, Chief of Plastic Surgery at Ross General Hospital in Marin County, and Chief of Surgery at Ross Hospital in Marin County. Dr. Poulos is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Medical Association and the Marin Medical Society.

About Dr. Hvistendahl

Dr. Hvistendahl completed his undergraduate work at Dartmouth College and attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University. Today, he is co-founder of the Plastic Surgery Specialists, Chief of the Plastic Surgery Division at Marin General Hospital and Co-Director and Chief of the Plastic Surgery Center of Marin. He also holds positions at the California Pacific Medical Center, the Novato Community Hospital and the Kentfield Hospital in Marin County.

Dr. Hvistendahl is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and us an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Medical Association, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.
