Experience and Education

Dr. Vazquez has performed thousands of plastic surgery procedures. He has extensive training in all aspects of cosmetic surgery and has been in practice since 1988. He obtained a degree in chemistry from the University of Miami and attended medical school at UAG in Mexico.

Dr. Vazquez completed a five-year general surgery residency as well as a plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. He trained with world renowned plastic surgeons while completing fellowships in cosmetic surgery in Miami and Rio de Janeiro.

Today, Dr. Vazquez is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon, as well as a fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons. Dr. Vazquez is former president of the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons and past chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mercy Hospital.
