Meet the Plastic Surgeons of Aesthetic Surgical Images

Dr. John J. Heieck has been involved in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery for over 20 years. In fact, he identified his dedication to plastic surgery when treating trauma victims as a general surgery resident at Creighton Medical Center and while performing U.S Army based medical research. There is a great deal of complexity associated with treating trauma victims. Thus, his experience in treating people with extensive and unusual cosmetic and reconstructive needs makes Dr. Heieck an ideal choice for any plastic surgery procedure. Dr. Heieck is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is a member of organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. John J. Edney developed his love for plastic surgery after his experience in other areas of medicine. Dr. Edney is board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery. In 1976, Dr. Edney began post graduate work with a five year residency in general surgery at Creighton University.  He went on to accept a fellowship in surgical oncology. Then, Dr. Edney attended the University of Pittsburgh to pursue his plastic surgery training and earn a fellowship in vascular surgery. Dr. Edney is Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Nebraska Methodist Hospital. He is also an assistant clinical professor of surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Edney is an active member in select medical organizations such as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Richard J. Bruneteau found the field of plastic surgery appealing because he was able to utilize both his artistic and scientific talent in medicine. Dr. Bruneteau is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After completing medical school, Dr. Bruneteau completed a general surgery residency at the University of Iowa and a plastic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He also accepted two fellowships; one in micro vascular surgery at the University of California and one in craniofacial surgery at the Harvard Medical School. The diversity in Dr. Bruneteau’s education has allowed him to develop unique treatment plans for all plastic surgery patients.  He belongs to organizations such as the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Marie E. Montag enjoys using her creative talents in plastic surgery to serve patients of any age with any need. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Marie Montag completed medical school and a general surgery residency at Creighton University. Then, she continued with two years of plastic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin. Finally, Dr. Montag dedicated one year to advanced training in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic surgery. Dr. Montag’s refined plastic surgery expertise and education offers people interested in plastic surgery an opportunity to explore all aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery. From facial procedure and body contouring to special needs of children and trauma victims, Dr. Montag is prepared to assist all.
