Originator of the "Mommy Makeover" Concept
Years before "Mommy Makeover" became a popular term, Dr. Nachbar coined the phrase, "Post-Baby-Tune-Up." For years Dr. Nachbar has devoted much of his practice to combining different procedures to help women whose bodies were ravaged by pregnancy.
Having trade-marked the phrase, "Post-Baby-Tune-Up" in February 2004, Dr. Nachbar has been given credit for giving birth to the "Mommy Makeover" concept by Patricia Anstett, a reporter for the Detroit Free Press. In a subsequent articled titled "Word Spy," Anstett reported that "Post-Baby-Tune-Up" is the earliest citation of "Mommy Makeover," originating in Scottsdale, Arizona.
