There are a number of possible complications that can occur. Displacement can result in the malpositioning of one or both implants. This is rare but necessitates re-operation. Hematoma (blood accumulation) or seroma (fluid build up) are also possible complications of breast enlargement for men. One percent of patients also experience temporary or permanent loss of sensation in their upper arm. Most of these side effects are rare, and breast enlargement for men is a relatively safe procedure that can greatly enhance the appearance of the male chest.
