Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that provides a number of aesthetic benefits. With mesotherapy, the middle layer of the skin (the mesoderm) is specifically targeted with a specially formulated blend of vitamins, minerals, medications, and amino acids. Microinjections of these unique blends are designed to deliver corrective treatment for an array of conditions. Mesotherapy has been shown to help patients with weight loss, hair re-growth, cellulite reduction, skin rejuvenation, body sculpting, and even medical treatments.

The mesotherapy technique was first developed as an alternative to liposuction. By delivering a compound which breaks up fat, the creator of this procedure believed that fat could be dissolved. The French physician who invented mesotherapy was so successful that the popularity of this procedure grew rapidly in Europe, though the United States has been a little slow to incorporate mesotherapy into mainstream cosmetic surgery. While the procredure is still gaining popularity in the United States, patients who undergo mesotherapy are overwhelmingly satisfied with the results and the safety of this procedure.

Many patients find that mesotherapy is an excellent alternative to liposuction. Mesotherapy does not require extensive surgery, produces less scarring, and requires a much shorter recovery period than traditional fat extraction procedures. Mesotherapy injections work to modify the fat cells in order to block the signals of fat accumulation and trigger the release of stored fat. In effect, mesotherapy eliminates fat without destroying the fat cell. When combined with proper diet and exercise, mesotherapy is a great way to shed inches of unwanted body fat.

Mesotherapy is also an excellent cosmetic choice for those wishing to diminish the appearance of cellulite. Approximately ninety percent of all adult women have some cellulite development in certain areas of their body. Cellulite is not the same as fat and develops as a result of poor circulation, weak connective tissues, lymphatic congestion, and hormonal changes. Mesotherapy effectively targets pockets of cellulite to strengthen connective tissues, increase circulation, and dissolve excess fat.

Mesotherapy may also be a great procedure for those who suffer from alopecia, or hair loss. Alopecia can be caused by hormonal changes, nutritional imbalances, or poor circulation. Mesotherapy can effectively restore balance and health in targeted areas to stimulate the re-growth of hair.

Neck and facial rejuvenation can also be achieved through mesotherapy. Mesotherapy injections containing antioxidants and powerful amino acids can heal damage caused by free radicals, trigger fat dissolution, and tighten loose skin. This mesotherapy formulation can also be used to target other areas of the body. Overall mesotherapy is an excellent way to achieve many aesthetic and medical goals with very little risk of complications or side effects.
