Scarless Breast Lift

Scarless breast lift surgery uses small, strategically placed incisions to minimize the amount of scar tissue. In most scarless breast lift surgery procedures, an endoscope (small camera on a tube) is inserted, so the surgeon can perform the scarless breast lift surgery with very small instruments, watching the progress on a video screen.

Procedure

In an endoscopic scarless breast lift surgery, a small incision under the armpit provides the necessary opening through which the surgeon performing scarless breast lift surgery inserts instruments, loosening the breast tissue from the chest muscle. The next step of the scarless breast lift surgery is to remove a pie-shaped section of breast tissue, bringing remaining tissue together with sutures. Scarless breast lift surgery is completed when the breast is lifted into position and the incisions are closed. Then, scarless breast lift surgery patients are placed in an appropriate dressing and garment.

Recovery

The recovery period after scarless breast lift surgery is usually shorter than that for a traditional breast lift. Because the incisions from scarless breast lift surgery are smaller, the healing takes less time, with a lower chance of infection. Most scarless breast lift surgery participants are able to return to work within a week of the procedure.
